Missionary Discipleship Institute: June 12-16, 2017 (contact firstname.lastname@example.org)
MDI strives to equip young people with the tools and experience to come back to their community after this experience and put ministry into action in one of five areas (Teaching, Proclaiming the Scripture, Creating Community, Service, and Prayer). Teens spend time learning about their specific ministry, seeing the ministry happen, partnering with a local group to do that ministry in the Indianapolis community, and then becoming that ministry for their home parish by writing a Missionary Discipleship plan. Keynote speakers will include Mike Patin, Chris Padgett, Jackie Francois, and more!
One Bread, One Cup: June 12 - 16, 2017 (contact email@example.com)
One Bread, One Cup is a five-day liturgical leadership conference focusing on the Word, Sacrament and Mission of the Roman Catholic Church for high school youth groups and their campus and youth ministers. Conferences focus on community building, leadership development, catechesis, liturgical and spiritual formation, and theological reflection. There's no shortage of fun either: team building, outdoor recreation, a variety show and a dance are included too.
Catholic Heart Workcamp: June 17 - 23, 2017
CHWC gives high schoolers the opportunity to live a life of service within the community by connecting their group to organizations like food pantries, Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels, Ramp-a-thon, YMCA, and many more. This service is paired with a dynamic, energizing experience of the Gospel.
Bethlehem Farm: June 25 - July 1, 2017 (contact firstname.lastname@example.org)
Bethlehem Farm works with low income families in the Appalachia area to do home repair for them. This intentional service trip immerses teens into a life of simple living, care for the poor, communal life, and powerful prayer. Coming home from this experience, teens are truly changed into conscientious members of the community who make choices out of service to one another and to self, simplicity of living by giving up unnecessary things, and care for God's creation.
Notre Dame Vision: July 10 - 14, 2017
ND Vision helps teens to explore what a call to vocations means in their life by helping them to answer the first vocation we all have: holiness. Each teen is placed in a small group where they grow in community, learn about the lives of the saints, and start to ask the question, "What does God want me to do with my life?"
